Dec, 1956, Pg. 1 Fred Lemler Dies in Higginsville Fred Lemler, 69, former resident of the Cole Camp community, died at his home in Higginsville at 11:45 p.m. Monday. Mr. Lemler was born at Cole Camp, where he grew to young manhood. On October 28, 1913 he was united to Miss Maggie Haase. Five children were born to this union. One son Leonard Lemler was killed in action in France on December 8, 1944. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Fred Lemler of Corder and Milburn of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Miller, Higginsville and Mrs. Lorine Ray of Lexington, fifteen grandchildren, one brother, Albert Lemler, Cole Camp and two sisters, Miss Laura Lemler, Cole Camp and Mrs. Flora Bottcher, Sedalia. His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 2:30 Thrusday afternoon at the Lutheran Church in Higginsville. rwbrauer@iland.net
