Cole Camp Courier April 21, 1983; Pg. 4 EMMA WILSHUSEN Emma Gesena Wilshusen, Route 2, Cole Camp, died at her home April 17, 1983, at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 4 days. She was born near Cole Camp, September 13, 1912, daughter of Benhardt and Louise (Koeller) Schutte. September 14, 1912, she was baptized at Mt. Hulda and confirmed May 15, 1927, also at Mt. Hulda. On March 12, 1937, she married Ernest Wilshusen, who died August 18, 1970. Others preceding her in death were her parents and one sister. Survivors include two sisters, Rosie (Mathildia) Haase and Mrs. Louis (Dora H. ) Haase, both of Cole Camp; three brothers, Amos Schutte, Bolivar, Fredinand Schutte, Smithton, and Fred Schutte, Cole Camp. She was a member of Mt. Hulda Lutheran Church where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 20, with the Rev. Arnold Heimsoth officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hulda Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lawrence Luetjen, Arthur Luetjen, Olaf Lutjen, Roland Kerksiek, Woodrow Bayless and Don Kyle. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. April 19 at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.
