Haase, 54, of Sedalia, died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 10, 1988, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Kansas City. He was born Aug. 5, 1933, in Cole Camp, son of Rudolph and Annie Haase. On Jan. 21, 1969, in Miami, Okla., he married Goldie Marie Harvey, who survives of the home. Mr. Haase was a 1953 graduate of Cole Camp High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was employed by Sedalia Fruit Co. for 18 years. Other survivors include his stepmother, Tillie Haase, Sedalia; six sons, Gary Ballard, Russell Harvey, Ronald Harvey, Tim Haase and Jim Haase, all of Sedalia; Robert F. Haase, Kansas City; three daughters, Cheryl Furnell, Orlando, Fla.; Charlene Kugler, Aurora, Colo.; Robin Martin, Sedalia; and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Heckart-Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. R.H. Rhoades officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Ellis, Don Haase, Larry Haase, Bob Steward, Jim Wallace and Larry Young. rwbrauer@iland.net
