Koeller, 71, Cole Camp, died Monday, Aug. 12 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia. He was born near Cole Camp on Oct. 29, 1913, son of Charley and Louise Young Koeller. On Nov. 29, 1938, he was married to Lorene Robinson who died in 1974. On Jan. 17, 1976 he was married to Selma Wienberg who passed away in 1983. Mr. Koeller was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of First Baptist Church, Cole Camp. He was also a member of the Royal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1494 in Sedalia. Survivors include a daughter Betty Huffman, Springfield; a step-son, Robert Wienberg, Cole Camp; a step-daughter, Rutha Ann Kreisel, Mora; 3 sisters, Dora Myers, Cole Camp; Nora Scheerer, Stover; Clara Skinner, Sedalia; 2 brothers, Fred and Clarence Koeller, Cole Camp; and 4 step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Cole Camp, with the Rev. Dwayne Cartwright, officiating. A visitation service was held at the Fox Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 8 p.m. a prayer service followed. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Cole Camp. Pallbearers were Ernie Hopper, Raymond Metscher, Alvin Koeller, Kenneth Koeller, John R. Welliver, Sr. and Robert Farrington. rwbrauer@iland.net
