Steffens 1961 - 2001 Sedalia Ann Jenine Moentmann Steffens, 39, of Sedalia, formerly of Norborne, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born Oct. 4, 1961, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, a daughter of Earl and Virginia Mueller Moentmann. She was married to Jerry Steffens, who survives of Cole Camp. Mrs. Steffens worked at InterState Studio in Sedalia. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne. She was a member of Mt. Hulda Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. She was a 1980 graduate of Norborne High School. She attended Central Missouri State University and graduated from Concordia College in Seward, Neb., in 1984. Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Steffens and Samantha Steffens, both of the home; her father of Norborne; two sisters, Sharon Hutcheson of Sedalia and Melanie Moentmann of Independence; and a brother, Paul Moentmann of Concord, N.C. She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne. Burial will be in Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Jennifer and Samantha Steffens Trust Fund in care of Home Savings and Loan in Norborne. rwbrauer@iland.net
