    3. Memorial Paper from the Church Nancy K. Webb, 50, of Independence, Missouri, died from a heart attack Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at her home. Nancy was born December 3, 1950, in Sedalia, a daughter of Ferdinand A. and Nola (Montgomery) Schutte. On July 20, 1979, she married Bill Webb, who survives of Independence. She was a 1968 graduate of Smithton High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Central Missouri State University in 1977. She was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Independence and was a coach for the Destination Imagination Problem Solving Team at Messiah Lutheran School. Nancy enjoyed being a "soccer mom" to her girls and was a frequent volunteer in the soccer concession stand. She also enjoyed her flea market booth in Oak Grove, Missouri. She worked for S.B.S.I. Insurance Company and was a substitute teacher. Survivors include her husband, Bill Webb, Independence; four daughters, Nancy Lyn Thompson and Jill Dotson, both of Independence, Anna Webb and Audrey Webb, both of the home; five grandchildren; her father, F.A. Schutte, Smithton; two brothers, George A. Schuute, Lehigh, Kansas, Warren R. Schutte, Cole Camp; two sisters, Betty M. Brauer, Smithton, and Barbara Schnakenberg, Cole Camp. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nola Schutte, October 2, 2000. rwbrauer@iland.net
