Please note: Many obits contain many errors. Cole Camp Courier July 2, 1992, Pg. 5 Fred John Koeller Fred John Koeller of Cole Camp, died 9 p.m. June 23, 1992 at his home. He was 80. Mr. Koeller was born Aug. 6, 1911 near Cole Camp, son of Charley Frederick and Louise Young Koeller. On March 16, 1947, he was married in Mora, Mo. to Leora Zimmerschied, who survives. He is also survived by three sisters --Dora Myers of Sedalia, Nora Scheerer of Stover and Clara Skinner of Sedalia; one brother, Clarence Koeller of Cole Camp. He was preceded in death by one brother and one stepbrother. He was a farmer of his own land and also a local school bus driver for 10 years. He spent his life a resident of rural Cole Camp and moved at his current address in 1970. An Army veteran of World War II, he belonged to American Legion Post 305, Cole Camp. Baptized Aug. 25, 1911, he was a member of the United Lutheran Church of Cole Camp. Services for Fred John Koeller were at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, at United Lutheran Church with the Rev. Duane Levin officiating. Songs were "Beautiful Savior" and "Children of The Heavenly Father." Interment was in Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alvin Koeller, Raymond Metscher, Wayne Balke, Mike Intelmann, Larry Tobaben and Frank Kreisel. Memorials to the United Lutheran Church or Memorial Cemetery have been suggested. rwbrauer@iland.net
