May have mistakes Cole Camp Courier March 12, 1970, Pg. 9 MRS. CARRIE STEFFENS Mrs. Carrie Steffens of Lincoln died Wednesday afternoon at her home at the age of 82 years. She was born at Lincoln October 22, 1887, daughter of John and Christina Gerdts Mueller. On October 26, 1916, she married John W. Steffens, who survives. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Surviving also are a son, Herbert Steffens, Cole Camp, and two brothers, Arthur and Albert Mueller, Lincoln. Preceding her in death were two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln with the Rev. Rolland Nothwehr officiating. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. rwbrauer@iland.net
