Haase Augusta Josephine Haase, age 94, of Cole Camp, died early Wednesday morning at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Cole Camp. She was born November 21, 1903, near Cole Camp, a daughter of Henry and Sophia Bruns Luetjen. She was united in marriage to Ernest F. Haase on February 14, 1924, and he preceded her in death on October 3, 1965. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp. Survived by one daughter, Maguerite Uptegrove, of Cole Camp, Mo; four sons, Robert Haase of Fremont, NE, Richard Haase of Papillion, NE, Ralph Haase and Calvin Haase, both of Cole Camp, MO; twenty-two grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and twelve step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 6, 1998, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, MO with the Rev. Randal Ehrichs and Vicar Wade Seaver officiating. Burial will be in Union Williams Cemetery, Cole Camp. Prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening with visitation following.
