    3. Please note: Many obits contain many errors. Cole Camp Courier, December 9, 1971 MRS. LOUELLA JUANITA HAASE Mrs. William B. Haase of this city died suddenly at 1:26 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia at an age of 67 years, 9 months and 5 days. She entered the hospital on November 20 due to a heart condition. She was born at Graham, Mo., on February 26, 1904, daughter of the late Andrew and Dianna Williams Modie. When she was 4 her parents moved to Cole Camp and later moved to Bolchow, Mo. On November 16, 1922, she married William Haase, who survives of the home. This union was blessed with one daughter. After their marriage the family resided in Cole Camp, later moving to Sedalia where they made their home for 16 years, moving back to Cole Camp in 1962. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church, Cole Camp. Besides her widower, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Ruby) Morris, Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Roberts, Blue Springs; Mrs. Loren (Julia) Johnson, Banning, Calif.; three brothers brothers, Frank Modie, Tacoma, Wash.; George Modie, Lakin, Kan.; and two grandchildren. One half-sister and one half-brother preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the United Lutheran Church with the Rev. Merlin Sjoberg officiating. Mrs. Nadine Bohling and Mrs. Marie Ryan sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and the congregation sang "Softly and Tenderly" and "Abide with Me" with Miss Opal Harms as accompanist. Burial was in the Cole Camp Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rudolph Haase, Albert Haase, Lawrence Haase, Ralph Haase, Otto Luetjen and Ervin Meyer. Funeral arrangements were by the Fox Funeral Home. rwbrauer@iland.net
