Please note: Many obits contain many errors. Cole Camp Courier, May 6, 1971 SUSIE FLORA HAASE Susie Flora Haase was born January 27, 1912 at Cole Camp, Missouri to Henry A. and Della Morris Fowler. She departed this life on April 23, 1971 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa after a lingering illness, at the age of 59 years, two months and 26 days. Her childhood and school days were spent at Cole Camp, Missouri. On June 18, 1933 she was united in marriage to Lawrence John Haase; from this union two children were born; a son L. J. Haase Jr. and a daughter Bette Ann. She had lived in Allerton, Iowa since June of 1965. She was always devoted to her family and was a kind and loving mother and wife. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Lawrence, her son L. J. Jr. of Allerton, her daughter Bette Fowler of Kansas City, Missouri, three granddaughters, Kathie Jo and Laurie Ann of Friend, Nebraska and Kustine of Kansas City, Missouri and one grandson John D. of Allerton, three sisters Ruby Nilson, Ann Smarr, and Ruth Speich of Kansas City, Missouri, one brother Bob Fowler of Cole Camp, Missouri, one daughter-in-law Beverly Sue, one son-in-law Donald, five nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and three sisters Senith, Francis and Inez. Services were held from the Randolph Funeral Home on Sunday April 25, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Braden officiating. Hymns were sung by Mrs. John Braden with the pianist Mrs. Winnie Beavers. The pall bearers were Irven Carter, Gary Langloss, Edward Speich, Michael Speich and Larry Fowler.
