Cole Camp Courier Oct. 5, 1989, Pg. 5 Alvena Marie Haase Alvena Marie Haase, 76, died Wednesday, September 20, 1989 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Alvena was born in Higginsville, Missouri on June 18, 1913, a dughter of Louis Henry and Elazableth Held Schowengerdt. On September 7, 1935, she married Albert John Haase, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Haase was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp. She was the Vice President of the Trinity Ladies Aid. Before retirement she was a seamstress at Lamey Manufacturing. Survivors include a son, Dr. Larry A. Haase, Warrensburg and a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Beckman, Cole Camp; three grandsons; two sisters, Amanda Alberswerth, Gladstone, Missouri and Luella Ridder, Higginsville, Missouri. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 23, 1989 at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Harvey Hendrickson and Vicar Richard Merrill officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Schowengerdt, Richard Schowengerdt, Robert Pragman, Charles Marcks, Edward Begemann, and Louis Albert Schowengerdt. THANK YOU We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to relatives, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances for their many acts of kindness and concern during the time Mother was hospitalized and after her death. Her life was touched by to many people and each person meant so much to her. your prayers, visits, and cards helped to encourage her through her final illness and these same actions, combined with food and other services rendered, helped console us after her death.
