Koeller Matilda Ella Josie Koeller, 83, of Cole Camp, died Thursday, November 2, 2000, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Cole Camp. She was born July 7, 1917, at Mt. Hulda, a daughter of John and Anna Lackman Kerksiek. On October 6, 1940, in Mt. Hulda Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, she was united in marriage to Clarence Koeller, who survives of the home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Iverne, Mrs. Charles Johnson of Rantoul, Illinois and Diana, Mrs. David Moelman of Cole Camp; two sons, Alvin Koeller and his wife Maurine of Florence and Kenneth Koeller and his wife Barbara of Sedalia; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Ida Pritzel, Lillie Brunjes and Lena Kerksiek and four brothers, Ernest Kerksiek, Olaf Kerksiek and two in infancy. Funeral services were Sunday, November 5, 2000, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp with the Reverend Randal Ehrichs and Vicar Todd Bunge officiating. Burial was in Trinity Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roland Kerksiek, Leroy Pritzel, Charlie Kast, Elmer Dieckman, Raymond Schnakenberg, Raymond Metscher and Harlan Bahrenberg. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Trinity Lutheran New Church Building Fund, or the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, in the care of the funeral home. rwbrauer@iland.net
