Memorial Paper from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, MO Rosie Brauer It was on December 20, 1927, at Rocheport Missouri that the Lord blessed the home of Joe and Lottie Lee (Womack) Bond with the gift of a daughter and they named her Rosie. She entered God's kingdom through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism as an infant. She affirmed her faith in the triune God through the rite of Confirmation on February 13, 1972. She was united to Howard Shiverdicker. She was later married to Tandy Uptegrove who preceded her in death. On July 23, 1966, she was united to Elroy W. Brauer. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cole Camp. Along with being a homemaker and mother, she worked outside the home in various jobs. Most recently she operated a kennel, raising several different breeds of dogs. Rosie had been in failing health and entered Bothwell Regional health Center in Sedalia. It was there Thursday morning that the Lord called Rosie to her eternal rest, having granted an earthly life of seventy years, three months and twelve days. She is survived by: her husband, Elroy W. Brauer of the home; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Allen of Sedalia; two sons, John Franklin Uptegrove of Otterville, and Roger Dale Uptegrove of Cole Camp; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and her mother-in-law, Dora Payton of Cole Camp. She was preceded in death by one daughter (Barbara Lee Shiverdicker), one sister, three brothers and one half-brother. rwbrauer@iland.net
