Dear Betty, I am a stepdaughter to Charles Dick. His mother Mary was the daughter of Anton Bruns. Anton had two brothers. August Bruns, and John Bruns, and as you said they came from Germany. Charles is 87 years old as of yesterday, and remembers his mother talking about August and John her uncles. I am sorry that he does not remember much more.
