Obituary Henry Schuette, a Civil War veteran, and a nearly livelong resident of the Mt. Hulda community, died at his home Friday, January 31, about 6 p.m. He was born in Germany and emigrated to America at the age of 9. He was married to Gesche Mahnken who preceded him in death 14 months ago. His age was 87 years, 6 months and 17 days. Burial took place at Mt. Hulda Cemetery, by the Rev. W. O. Petzoldt. He leaves to mourn, his two sons, Barnard and Friedrich, also seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was buried Sunday afternoon February 2.
