FREDERICK SCHUTTE DIEIS ----------------------------- Aged Farmer Passed Away Wednesday, November 29. Funeral Saturday, December 2. ----------------------------- Frederick Schutte, aged retired farmer of the Mt. Hulda community, passed away at 3:05 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, November 29, at his home 7 miles South of Cole Camp, where he resided with his niece. Mrs. Ernest Wilshusen and Mr. Wilshusen. Mr. Schutte fell off a load of hay about nine weeks ago and until November 22, was a patient in the Wetzel hospital in Clinton when he returned to the Wilshusen home. Mr. Schutte was born June 6, 1870 on the farm 7 miles South of Cole Camp, a son of the late Henry Schutte and his wife Gesche, nee Mahnken. He was babtized in infancy and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Hulda. His entire life was spent on the farm where he was born. He attained the age of 80 years, 5 months and 23 days. One brother preceded him in death. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Eickhoff Funeral Home at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon and in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Hulda with the Rev. Oscar Heimsoth, officiating. Pallbearers were: Fred Koeller, Florence Koeller, Albert Koeller, Elmer Steffens, Albert Metscher and Ernest Lackman. Interment was in Trinity Lutheran cemetery, Mt. Hulda.
