Mo Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Benton/11191 Surname: Adams, Holdren ------------------------- Is there any register of Union Army veterans who are buried in Benton County? My gg grandfather, William Adams, born in 1820 in Ohio, served in Company K, 90th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, from 1862 until 1865. He and his wife, Mary Holdren Adams, born around 1827 in Virginia, and their children moved from Fayette County, Ohio to Benton County sometime after the Civil War. He died Aug. 26, 1884 in or near (I believe) Lincoln, Benton County. Near the end of his life, he lived and worked on the farm of D. B. Rolstin (Ralston?). The widow, Mary, later moved to Pettis County, which is where, I believe, she died in the fall of 1897. I would like to find the location of their graves, and I would appreciate receiving any information on that or on anything else pertaining to them. Thank you. Martin Smith
