I will be in the Benton Co. area and I am looking for directions for the Shawnee and Spring Branch Cemeteries. I have them listed as: Shawnee--Section 7, Twsp 40, R22, and Spring Branch Section 4, twsp 38, R22. If anyone could give me some general directions I would appreciate it. I am coming from KS but I am somewhat familiar with the main highways that go through Fristoe and Warsaw. Thanks, Cindy

To Shawnee from Warsaw take 7 Hiway over the lake and turn right at the Dam Access Rd (this is the first right there is a double wide homes sale yard on the corner. The cemetery is on the left side on that road. Turn left to the gate. Spring Branch is in very southern Benton County. Take 65 south out of Warsaw to 83 exit. Take 83 south to K. Take K to the county line. There will be a rock road going off to the left, take that road staying to the left to the church and cemetery. You will dip down in Hickory county along the way but it is less than a mile and half to the church. The old number for rock road is SE 2000 Benton county is in the midst of assigning names to all the roads in the county for the 911 system. I have not been down there for a few years so I do not know if they have put up new road signs or not. I'd appreciate you letting me know after your trip. Good luck Barb Posz
