Mo Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Benton/971 Surname: Rice, Wallace ------------------------- In searching through early Benton Co marriages I noticed a couple of Rice marriages, that of JACOB RICE to MARGARET FORD 12/26/1839 and ORLEANS RICE who married WILLIAM CARROLL BARKER 3/1/1843. The reason this caught my eye I am looking for descendants of CATHERINE RICE(born in N.C.)IN 1814. She married JACOB WALLIS/WALLACE in 1836 in Franklin Co. Mo. and they moved to Benton Co. in abt 1838. I am wondering if these Rice families could be related. Is there any one researching these two Benton Co. Rice lines? Are these two Benton Co. Rice families relate? Any light on this appreciated.
