Hi!! Looking for information on Henry H. BOHR, born about 1809 in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, died in Benton County, Missouri, date unknown. He was married to Elizabeth FEHLER, born 26 Jun 1811 in Pennsylvania, daughter of John Adam FEHLER and Catherina Elizabeth FITTING. There are a number of genealogists in our family, none of whom have been able to find out anything about Noah's ancestors. Can anyone help??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My gg grandfather was Claus Heinrich Steffens born November 02, 1835 in Malstedt, Hanover, GER, and died May 31, 1884 in MO. I first find him in the 1860 Benton County MO census. Then I find him in the Benton County Home Guards: Steffins, Claus Age: Blank Rank Pvt., Co. B, Captain: Feldman Enlisted: June 13, 1861 Where: Benton Co. MO Mustered: June 13, 1861 Disbanded: September 13, 1861 Missouri State Archives, Reel ML 234 His father was Cord Steffens born in Malstedt, Hanover, GER, and his mother was Marie Barrenbrock, daughter of CHRISTOFFER BARRENBROCK and ANNA LÖHDEN. The strangest thing, is there is also a Steffens, Henry Pvt B unknown; not found in the census, who had a widow's pension 1904, Michigan died bef 1904. I find this on http://members.aol.com/hrftx/hgPZ.htm This is the same company, etc. as my gg grandfather. I know one of you has to be researching him. Who was he, where was he from, and why did he leave? My Claus had a brother named Heinrich, or Henry, but this is not him. His brother did not come until after the civil war, and he came with his wife and a bunch of children. Can anyone out there settle this question? Thanks sincerely! I got your book throughinterlibrary loan. I believe Solomon the son of Anthony is to old to be the one who married Uphamah Rozell. Solomon son of Richard could possibly be the one who married Uphamah. But I can't find the Jeremiah who second married Uphamah after Solomon. I believe it quite likely my Solomon and Jeremiah both came out of Accomac County. Richard Rozell father of Uphamah Rozell was from the Baltimore area of Maryland.(fairly close to Accomac County) Later he moved to Rockingham Co. NC. Here he died leaving a will. I believe Jeremiah and Solomon West came out of Accomac Co.Va.(near BAltimore.) Solomon West moved to Rockingham Co. NC Died leaving a will naming Uphamah and 4 children. Jeremiah married Uphama the widow in Rockingham Co. Jeremaih, Uphamah and children were counted in l800 census for Rockingham Co. In l8l0 Jeremiah apparently now a widower was in Franklin Co. KY withUphamah and Solomons children plus the children of Jeremiah and Uphamah, including a daughter Mary West who married in l8l7 Jeremiah West son of another Jeremiah West. My special search is for the father of Jeremiah West. Hoyt Young

Also, Franklin died in Sedalia, Pettis Co., on 29 Jun 1909 and is talked about in the History of Benton Co., but is there any way to find a death certificate as MO. didn't issue them until 1910?? Thank you
