Just a note - I just checked out this database - I put in my name which has to be at least 72 years ago . One came up which said -- Mrs so & so said -- how he died = He was in the act of using me , he died at my breast . I think I will warn my kids about what they say on anything that will or may become public record in 72 years . Even the departed or their family have no privacy . Personally I think a lot of records should only be accessble to proven descendants . I know everyone has an opinion about this and I just thought I would point out to the lists --> what I found on the Missouri database . I have never seen a coroners report before . Best to all :) sheri

I'd be happy to share info with you, but I'll soon be offline for a couple of weeks. Earliest I've seen your James is age 9 in Robert G. Mock's 1870 Morgan county MO household. I believe James is the son of Robert's first wife Mary Blassingame rather than of the second wife Lucy _____ who is there in 1870 -- but I'm not 100% sure on that. In 1900 his mother is listed as b. KY (which points to Lucy rather than Mary) but that's not much to go on. Need to find Lucy's marriage or Mary's death record. Robert G. Mock was a son of Daniel W. Mock Jr. The Mock Family Historian website (http://mock.rootsweb.com/) has some info on them under working charts but it looks like it still needs some work; they don't have the 2nd wife listed. My gggrandfather Henry Mock was a brother (or 1/2 brother) to your James. Have a few pictures, too -- it would be interesting to compare the two brothers if you have pictures of James. Feel free to email me at the address in my profile.

Further that Jeremiah West who was 2nd husband of Uphamah Rozell was born in l760. Jeremiah West Father of Jeremiah West who married Mary WEst daughter of Jeremiah West and Uphamah Rozell was born in abt l778. (This Jeremiah was 77 years of age in the Camden Co. Mo. l850 census. Looking for ancestors of Rachael Ellen SUMMERS, born 3 Mar 1856 in Windsor City, Harrison County, Missouri, married Noah BOHRN (BOHR) on 14 Jan 1875 in Benton County, Missouri, died 18 Jan 1914 in Deepwater, Fairview Township, Henry County, Missouri. According to the marriage record, Rachael's maiden name was SUMMERS, although I have seen it spelled SUMNER also. I only know that her parents names were John SUMMERS and Margaret FISHER. Perhaps someone in the Benton County area might have some information about her ancestors or where I might find some information. This has been a brick wall for me and several of my family members for many years!! Would greatly appreciate any information anyone might have!!
