My great-grandparents were Noah (Bohr) Bohrn and Rachel Ellen Sumner. I am researching both lines and am desperate for information, especially on Rachel Ellen Sumner, as I have not been able to identify anyone other than herself in her family. Rachel Ellen married Noah in Benton County, Missouri, in 1875. My grandmother, Rosa Pearl Bohrn, who was the daughter of Noah Bohrn and Rachel Ellen Sumner used to say our family was related to the Brown family. Do you have any information on the Sumer or Brown families...or the Bohn or Bohr families. I am looking forwarding to talking with you.

Surnames: Holland, Warren, Nelson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SMB.2ACI/1389 Message Board Post: LDS records list a definate death date for Thomas Love HOLLAND in 1868 Rockport Mo. I am wondering about Sources for this date as well as the proof that Thomas Love HOLLAND son of Lydia WARREN and Benjamin HOLLAND is father of Nelson Holland b 1840 Tenn. I have found Thomas L Holland b 1812 in Grainger Co Tenn 1850 with wife Eliza (Nelson?) and child Nelson b 1840 (and others... there is a Nelson surname family living next door in 1850) Nelson is with Thomas and Eliza in Jamestown Mo 1860 Along with brother Columbus b. 1854 . Nelson is a confederate soldier in the Civil war and his mother dies 1867-70. Thomas remarries Mary A by 1870 and is then found in Warsaw 1870 Benton CO Mo (with Columbus b 1854) and finally 1880 in Camden CO Mo (with Columbus b 1854) . He is still alive for the 1890 vetran census in Camden Co Mo where he reports he was also a civil war vet. I have not found a burial date or place. Can anyone shed light on this mystery?
