Dalton with a son Richardson Dickerson m. a Black. Richardson moved to Benton Co., MO about 1839 with Thurmans. John's sister Mary Dickerson (my line) m. William Thurman. A couple of the Thurman children were living in Sumner co., TN as were several of Mary Dickerson's brothers. This line is confusing. I may be all wrong on this one but check the Sumner co., TN site and you will see what I am talking about.

They lived in DeKalb County, Illinois. Maude was born in November 1872 in Illinois, and died in 1945. Steven was born in October 1871 also in Illinois and died in 1914. (Birth dates and places according to the 1900 Census information and tombstone information). We don't have anything on Maude's family, other than her parents were both born in New York (again from census). Our Lawrence line is quite extensive. We don't know of any Lawrence connections in Benton County, Missouri. Could there be a connection?
