My Grandmother Brooks died in 1944 and is buried at the MacPheala Cemetery in Lexington, Mo. She had three children that lived to adulthood. A daughter Lucille, who died young leaving a son and daughter; my father, (now deceased) who had three sons and three daughters, all surviving and a daughter, Josephine who passed away in 1999.

Julia Ehlers Lutjen had nine children. All nine are listed. It doesn't say that August was a twin. What is interesting is that two of their children were named August. August Curt Dietrich Lutjen b. 11-21-1899, d. 2-25-1890, is buried at Mt. Hulda Cemetary. His brother August Claus Henry Lutjen b. 6-24-1895, d. 1-16-1954 is buried at Brushey Chapel Cemetary in Benton Co.
