The story from my mother was that Sarah Wallace went to Colorado with some family members when she was in her teens. She supposedly went to care for children. It would have had to be before 1900 since, according to the 1900 census, she was in North Dakota with her sister Dolly Wray and brother-in-law. Who took over the care of Fannie after her mother died? Since Sarah was only 14 when Sintha Ann died, perhaps John Wesley Wallace left for Colorado shortly after that.

Fannie was 10 years old when her mother died. Sintha was the 1st wife and then he married a Mary Elizabeth Wray in November of 1895. They had 2 sons Hencely Amon Wallace and Earl Clifton Wallace.William and Mary with their 2 boys with other members of the family moved to Creston Ca., San Luis Obispo County in March of 1905. I think that one of Sarah's brothers, John Wesley Wallace, lived in LaSalle, Colorado in about 1915 because his son Fred Wallace was born there. Do you know what year Sarah was in Colorado? This is the only Colorado connection that I know about.

I didn't see a Fritz Junge, but I did see where Anna Margaret Katherina Maggie Lutjen married John Herman Junge 3-24-1927 in Cole Camp, Mo. His parents names were Herman and Sena Junge. It has birth and death dates also. It doesn't indicate whether they had any kids. Maybe the person who wrote this book didn't know.

He was in Co. I 45th Regiment in the Infantry. His whole Regiment caught the measles while camped in Jefferson City about November 10,1864 and he was out of commission until about Dec 1st. He also had 3 brothers who served in the Civil War from Benton Co.: James, John and George. John Wesley Wallace lost his life in the Civil War.

This could be a great opportunity to exchange info. I have a pretty good record (up to the 1930's) of decendants of Peter and Anna Mueller. Claus Brase's wife Geshe Katherine Mueller was their daughter. Saw her tombstone in the Lake Creek cemetery this past thanksgiving. I use Family Tree Maker software.
