Campbell and Eliza Wertz. Charles was born on Nov. 12 1876 in Roanoke County, Virginia and he died on May 21, 1959, in Fristoe, Benton County, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Ada Crawford on Dec. 12, 1900. Charles became a member of the Turkey Creek branch of the Church of the Brethren at an early age. Surviving him were two sons. The funeral service was con- ducted by Brethren James Mohler and Kent Naylor. Interment was in the Fristoe (Benton County) cemetery.
