I have an extensive tree for the Campbell's, but would like to know more about the Andrew Jack Wisdom who married Nancy Campbell. Another step daughter to Nicholas Campbell, Wilmoth Caroline Jones married another Wisdom son, Hardin (?) Wisdom. Anything that you could send me on the Wisdom Family would be greatly appreciated. I would be more than happy to reimburse you for any expense. If there is anything that you would like on the Campbell girls that married the two Wisdom's, let me know. Thank you for the information you sent in your Email. I'm sending my address for Smail to you personally, as I do not want to post it to the list. I see that Neil Heimsoth has already sent you a message and that is about as good as I can do. The woods around here are full of Harms' and their family is well documented, even back to Germany. As regards the Feldman clan, they were important folks arund Cole Camp at one time, and the last one died out about two years ago (maybe 3). His daughter, however, is working on family history and someplace in my files I have her name and will send it when (if) I can locate it. I beieve my family, Eding, is somehow related to them Good luck in your quest and I would like to get any information you may develop on the Feldmans.

Mo Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Benton/11130 Surname: Feldman, Harms ------------------------- Feldman and Harms are both mentioned in the Cole Camp Area History and a number of them are in the Holy Cross book. As an example, in the Record of Marriages, in the Holy Cross book, it lists the wedding of Hinrich Feldman and Katherine Harms, Jan. 8, 1852. Mr. Leonard Brauer, a local historian and geneologist, has done extensive research on both of these families. Please advise me if you would like to make contact with him.

Posted on: Benton Co. Mo Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Benton/11128 Surname: ------------------------- The poster of a recent response on the Benton Co Query board had unknowingly been infected with a minor type of virus, which is unlikely to damage your computer, but sends out emails to any unread emails you happen to then have. If you have responded to a post on the board within the past week, and do not have a current real-time virus program running, it might be wise to check your system. If you did not email the infected address you have nothing to worry about. I have deleted the address in question until certain it has been cleared. If a virus email was sent to you, it would have had an attachment and message something like: "Please read attachment and reply". You would have to have opened and activated this attachment to get the virus. The virus then does not manifest itself until 5 minutes after your next reboot, at which time you get an on-screen message: "File data corrupt, probably due to bad data transmission or bad disk access." It then creates two files: Hkk32.exe and inetd.exe. You can "Search for Files or Folders" for those, and delete them if found. But it is a good idea to always be prepared, and a recommended free virus scan program, that will automatically fix above if found, can be downloaded at: http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp Since no one else has written since the first messages of concern, probably no one else was affected, and since they said they could not open the attachments, hopefully they were not either. The reason given by my program was "Faulty disc". It was supposedly sent in response to my posting about Wisdom, Campbell, Jones. However, another researcher got the same attachment notice in response to an altogether different name posting. She couldn't open hers either. Anyway, I deleted it. Hi list, I've been gone awhile, doing genealogy research in CA on branch of Oakes family which came from Benton Co., MO. (Did good!) But it did lead me back to Benton county. I'm looking for a 1880, 1890 and/or 1900 plat map of White Township (42N) Range 23W, Section 19. My g and gg grandfathers, Henry and Lemuel Oakes, had farms in this section and I'm trying to locate exactly where they were located. Know they were on Brush Creek, south of McIntyre Cemetery. Anyone on the list live in the area that could do a lookup and make a copy? I was there last fall, sooooo close to it!! Darn it all. Found so much since I've been home and to CA. which is the way it usually goes. Any assistance is very welcome. Sandie
