To the person accused of sending an attachment. I would just ignore their Email. They are just showing their ignorance when they do that. If they had been keeping up with the latest news (about 2 week now) they would know that there is a virus out there that is attaching itself to other peoples email address. Just do not open any attachment you receive unless you know the person and they have told you that they are sending you an attachment. The email with the virus attachment usually says at the very bottom of the email message something like "Open Attachment" or something to that effect. Jim S

In those lists there are names and dates. Of Mt. Hulda, I believe the only map will be of only the last few years, as I heard the original map was destroyed. In the listing for Mt. Hulda, it is a walk through the graveyard list, so if there isn't any stone, your best bet is the Mt. Hulda death records, which I have no idea if they are micro-filmed to further save them. I hope this helps. Denise Brauer Hoehns

AOL's email system will convert many large emails into zip file attachments, or .txt attachments. And email I get from a couple of relatives with other systems will always show attachments marked "unknown" even though there is nothing there, and if you "download" same and attempt to open them, all you get is a "rubicube" type icon. But it is also possible, as happened recently, for one to have and send out certain types of viruses without knowing it. To be safe, download the attachment to a floppy disc, and check same with a current virus program BEFORE you open it or attempt to. A free online virus screener can be downloaded at http://housecall.antivirus.com/ Homer Ficken, Benton Co Mo List host

The only birth records recorded by the county court prior to 1910 were a random few 1883-1893, so a family Bible or record is about your only hope. But if you have access to the 1880 census, she should appear there with her parents. Homer Ficken, Benton GenWeb
