    1. [MOBENTON-L] New To List
    2. Hello, The families that I am researching are: Howard, Stanton and Swinford. I do have some data on the Stanton family. They moved on to Henry Co, where they resided for many years. I am most interested in finding a grave or death date for George E. Howard died between 1850-1860. There was a John and Mary Howard in the early families of this county, we are wondering if these may be the parents of George Howard or any of the other early Howard's may be connected. 1. [MOBENTON-L] Re: Johann Heinrich Weymuth
    2. I am helping my husband's aunt who married a Weymouth. Her husband's family all came from Cole Camp, MO and I wonder if they might link to this ancestor. The family changed the spelling from Weymuth to Weymouth. His aunt was married to Myron Weymouth whose father was George J. Weymouth, b. Aug 4, 1889 in Cole Camp, MO. I have on a death record that his mother's maiden name was Brandt. He married a Mayola Curtis in Cole Camp. George was a contractor there. He had a brother named Jacob "Jake" and a sister Laura. Do you have any information that might link them to this family? I doubt that there are that many Weymuth's in the area at this time.

    2. Christopher Elmore was administrator of estate of James Fitzhugh. I have court records, Greene Co., from Aug 1834 to Jan 1835. Have 1 record where records were removed to Benton Co. Am trying to find those now. Elmore's having the Ferry on Osage River helps me locate place where James (my ggg grandfather) lived. I have no family info for you, but you may have copies of Elmore's work on my familys behalf if you wish. Bev Burt [email protected]

To get there, you can go to Benton main page and click on "Message Board" then search on "Adolph" and look at the reply to the Adolph Cordes pension post. Then to get the Morgan Co one, select "counties" in the string of links at top of page and select Morgan County (The Schluesing message with photo attached should be first one listed) Homer Ficken
