His wife Sophia Detjen's birth year is incorrect in some published data, as she is #38 in records of Monsees (Immanuel) Lutheran, born 4 Oct 1856, bapt. 29 Oct. Peter Detjen married Meta Adelheid Koester in Benton County 4 April 1851. (Meta was often anglicized to Martha.) She was the youngest daughter of the Cord Heinrich Koester family, who came to Benton Co 1844. Frederick Miller was Friedrich Müller, birth #41 in Monsees records, parents Johann Müller and Gesche Detjen. Gesche was born ca 1817, and a probable sister of Peter Detjen. Beverly Park Peavler Since it was a cash sale, I doubt any more info exists beyond the details listed by the Bureau of Land Mgmt. However since Benton Co was not created until 1835 I was curious, and discovered the one patent listed by the BLM search results menu as 1834 is a typo: When the certificate image is viewed, you will see the date was 1 April 1843, same as the other three certificates that date. Hello, I am looking for any history on Thomas Alexander & his wife Yeurith. I believe my husband's great grandpa was there grandson George Madison Alexander who was a Baptist Minister. George I believe was the son of William Squire Alexander & Rebecca Barnes. Born abt. 1823 in KY.& died 1902 in Dallas County, MO. I also heard that there is a Alexander reunion soon. I would love to hear about that. Thank you to anyone who can help, I really do appreciate it. Dena
