This creek was named after Frank Williams who prospected and trapped farom here east to the MacKenzie Mountains. He cam in 1898, one of the first men in the district, and his name occurs often in the early news from the region. Williams Creek a tributary of the Beaver River, Yukon territory.This creek was also named after Frank Williams.
