R. Biser, 76, who died Thursday, June 30, 1955 about 11 oclock of a ceberal (sic) Hemmorhage suffered Wednesday afternoon and from which he never regained consciousness, were held Saturday night at 8:00 oclock in a funeral home in St. Joseph, Mo. Graveside services and burial were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Hume cemetery. Dutch Biser was born on Sept. 30, 1878 near Hume, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Biser and died in St. Joseph, Mo. on June 30, 1955. He is survived by his wife of the home, two daughters, Olene Jeffers and Nedra Kundson, and one son, Lester Biser, all of St. Joseph; fvie (sic) grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Jack of Chicago and one sister Nish of Florida. The Biser family moved to St. Joseph from Hume about 1921. Hume Border Messenger, July 7, 1955, page 1 column 3. NOTES: This is the obit for Walter Raleigh Biser, whose wife was LuDema Wilson.
