Could we please agree to keep our political commentary to a minimum? Genealogy is a noble pursuit, and I applaud my fellow listers for whatever level of success they have achieved in their research, but if we get off-track and use the list for displaying our own political beliefs we run the risk of alienating members and possibly losing them as valuable research partners. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the author of the posting referenced above, I simply found that degree of political commentary to be quite distasteful. There are more appropriate forums for that type of discussion. Thank you. J. Watkins
