Hi Listers, I am trying to find information on my great-grandfather, William Wesley Morris. He was possibly born in Rockville, Bates County, MO about 1887. I have a copy of the marriage license for my great-grandparents. It says they married in Carter County on Christmas Day in 1908. It also says that he was over 21 and from Rockville. Any ideas on where to start? When did they begin keeping birth records in Bates County? Are there any online databases for Bates County? Any offline databases for Bates County?
