    3. Just thought I'd share this with everyone on all the [genealogy] lists I belong to, at least the ones I can remember :-) From what I can tell, the "long form" has 40 pages, 53 questions for the first person and 33 questions for persons 2 to 6. If you have this form, pages 39 and 40 are blank! I sat down and culled all my lines onto two pages. I can trace my my line back 18 generations, so on the first page, I have them listed, including birth, death, locations and marriage. The second page, I gathered all the "mother" lines w/ the same info. If you haven't guessed already, I'll take these two sheets to kinkos and have them xerox them onto the census. The idea being that when they microfilm the census and after 70 years, someone looking for me will find the Rosetta Stone of our line. Hopefully, if it's not too late or you haven't thought about doing this, maybe you really ought to give it some consideration!? Isn't this one of the lamentations of Genealogist - that the census doesn't give enough info... Plus, we make it work for us - our future, instead of just working for the government! chris
