Carrie Elizabeth Yoachum died in Barry Co. Mo. On May 9, 1952. Her obit lists sons with the surname Reynolds, however her DC has her father as George Reynolds & mother as Nancy Griffin. Her husband, Dillard Yoachum died in 1946. They are both buried at Clear Creek Cemetery, near Berwick in Newton Co. MO. There are two sons and six daughters surviving Carrie. Except for a daughter at Pierce City in Lawrence Co. MO,the children were two daughters in Santa Ana, CA, a son and daughter in San Dimas, CA. ,a daughter in Massachusetts, a daughter in San Juan, TX., and a son in Wilmington, IL. Now here is something interesting. Dillard & Carrie are found in the 1910 1920, and 1930 Barry Co. MO censuses, but NEVER any children listed! The 1910 Census also states this is a first marriage for both, and they were married 8 years at the time the census was taken. Her obit also states she had lived in Pierce City for 1 1/2 years.
