What year was Carrie Elizabeth born and where? Maybe in 1900 she was Mrs. Reynolds. There are 20 Reynolds in 1900 Barry and 2 Elizabeths but no Carrie. What are the sons first names? Maybe you can track them back to a particular family. Were those sons in the 1910-1930 Barry Co. Census. It's pretty common for people not to tell the census taker they were previously married. Also have you tried for a marriage record to see if she married as Reynolds or some other name? I didn't see a George Reynolds in 1900 Barry except one born in 1898.
