Good Morning: I may have several new entries and updates for you in the next few days. My mail box is full - the temporary folder is running over - and I have a lot of miscellaneous things back up to do. If you have sent me an e-mail address change - it will be done - but may take me awhile before I can get to it. Here are a few updates on our cemetery files. Jay Trace added King Funeral Home notes and also I added some death certificate notes on the following names and cemeteries listed below. Thanks so much Jay, for these nice additions. They really do help a lot and I think people are benefiting a great deal from this added information. I've noticed that a lot of the entries were before the death certificates were being kept and so those help a great deal and fill in blanks that maybe no other source can. Calton Cemetery - Bennett, Church, Dyer, Million, Marbut, Owen - Owens http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/calton/calton.htm Hilton Cemetery - Boren, Clevenger http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/hilton/hilton.htm Carney Cemetery - Clevenger Diana Cope said that there were a lot of unmarked graves at Carney so I think that we are going to be finding obits and death certificates for these folks for a long time to come. Remember when researching that this cemetery was sometimes called Pleasant Hill. Roller near Seligman was called Mt. Pleasant so don't get the two mixed up and please do find other documentation and also clues to help determine the location. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/old.carney/old.carney.htm Mars Hill Cemetery - Sapp, Wagnon, Jenkins, Smith - Smyth, Forrester, Branham, Bowling, Gouge, Dodson, Thogmartin Clevenger - listed as a Sept. death - death certificate for Dec. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/marshill/marshill.htm Leann Cemetery - Periman, Perriman, Laister, Williams, Hilton, Thomas, Hobson, Roark, Suttles, Ray, Hudson, Richardson, Samuel, Anderson, Conley, Alsbrook, Karch, Walker, Johnson, Garris, Hunt, Hutchens, Sikes, Allman, Allmon. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/leann/leann.htm I am trying to get caught up and have a few days of work to do before I can even think about starting anything else. When submitting additional information on cemeteries - please put those entries in the temporary cemetery folder. They could get lost in my over flowing mail box. Please also list your source instead of just telling me what you have. More - later. Donna Cooper
