Good Morning: Today I have a lot of new things for you to view. I have started posting obits again - but we still don't have all the ones that we have online switched to style sheets. Our thanks to Stefanie Forrester, a volunteer, who is helping with this massive and time consuming task. She has them all in the directories now, but there still may be a few that aren't linked yet. But - none were deleted so don't worry if you can find one that you submitted, we'll find it as we work our way through the files. If you come across obits in the cemetery files that have broken online obit links - just hang in there with us until I can go back through the cemetery files and remove the old links. I have been repaired - Carney, Leann, Mars Hill, Calton, Phillips, Mineral Springs, Purdy and Ennis so far. With the new obit format you will be able to print out an obit and have the resource - including the date and paper all there together on one sheet. It will print on a standard sheet of paper and will fit in your notebooks or family books without having to resize or to do a landscape - turn it size ways. A big thanks to Betty Lamberson, Don Warner and Joy Guentert who submitted several very nice new obits. And - I still have several in my mail box that I will work on later today or tomorrow. You can go ahead and submit the ones that you have been holding and I'll work on them up as I have time and in between other tasks. In among the new obits that are online this morning are these to follow: Charles J. Vest, Clyde Davis, Dewey Carroll, Robert Segal Davis, David Cummins, Joan W. Dudley, Joe Landon Rhea, James Kelly Higs. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/data/obits.htm And - our thanks to Jay Trace who has been transcribing funeral home records He was given permission to put them online and so he has been adding those as he has time. Phillips Cemetery - Phillips - information from a death certificate - DC - as well as funeral home records. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/phillips/phillips.htm Purdy Cemetery - New photo for Robert Johnson, DC information added, Ragsdale, Fly - Williams, Smith, Gurley, Stever, Blakeslee, Goetz. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/purdy/purdy.htm Ennis Cemetery - Wilson, Willard, Ennis, Ennes. And maybe some other names, too. Sorry, I don't have a lsit. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/ennis-ennes/ennis.htm Carney Cemetery - Carney - DC - information. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/old.carney/old.carney.htm And thanks to Ken McClendhana for his addition in Mineral. Mineral Springs - James Ruben Taylor - new information from Ken McClendhana added a correct date. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/mineralsprings/ms.htm Jay McCandless wrote to tell me that Jacob Hart had six wives and not five as we have listed. He says that in 1880 he was living in Marion Co., AR with wife no. 6 and that she was a Smith. If any of you have the documentation on that marriage, please drop me a note so we can add that to his photo page. Jay said that he didn't have a date or place for the marriage. I am trying to get caught up before Monett gets here. It will take me about 5 months to load and link Monett IOOF - maybe even longer - because since my carpal tunnel affair I can only do about 40 or 50 photos a day without having a lot of pain. There will be other things that will have to be done, too, and also there will be other cemeteries that will come in that will need to be added while I am working on that one so five months may not get it. But it will be nice to have it on the web site! We have Jay Trace to thank for this huge undertaking. His effort to help researchers does not go unnoticed! Donna Cooper
