Donna C, I just got a hand-me-down digital camera from my dad. So I volunteered on Find-A-Grave to take photos of cemeteries where I live (Torrance in Los Angeles Co). They want less than 250 KB for their site. Since I'm new to digital cameras, I was using Photoshop to save the pictures and reduce the file size, one picture at a time. I'll check the book (my dad saved everything, including the box!) and look for resolution size. Thanks for the tip! I did what you are doing too for the first 1000 or so and then while visiting Darla Marbut I learned that all I had to do was change the setting on my camera. She set my camera for me and then I was set for pictured taking. I saw later that it was pretty simple - I just had thought that it was a difficult task. I really felt dumb because I had to go back to the web site and reduce the size on two full cemeteries that I'd already done. So - it's not something that I knew either until I made a lot of mistakes.
