List Readers: I don't know why it should take 4 or 5 hours - or more - for a message to be posted to our list mailing. I sent this message to you this morning at 8:30 and since it hasn't come through I'm thought that I should post it again. I suppose that after I send this then it will come through. But on the other hand - you probably would rather get two of it than none at all. I haven't figured out if this is my mail server or Roots who is holding messages so long. I had one that was held over 30 hours one time. Are any of you having a similar problem with your messages? -------------------------------------------- List Readers: The featured photo chosen for the coming week is one of Samuel Beaty sitting in a buggy. There are two other men in the buggy too, but no names were with the photo for them. It was taken in Monett and looks like this was photo was taken around 1900. I noticed some telegraph lines in the background so it may have been taken somewhere near the railroad. It has been on the web site a long time and was submitted by Barbara Rivas and now in the possession of the Monett Historical Society. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/bryfams.htm Please let us know, if you can add any thing more about this photo.
