I have Judge Fred Walter Erwin with the following notes. According the his daughter, Hazel, Judge picked his own name after being teased about his given name, Fred. The 1900 census has Fred, born Jan 1880 MO, age 20, single, living at home with parents. Married in 1904. The 1910 census has Judge F., 1920 and 1930 have Judge.
