Metcalf General Store in Cassville and if not - do you, by chance, know what town it could have been in? Splendid idea, Donna! Thank you! I hope we hear from someone with knowledge of Metcalf's store so that picture can be used. The Eagle Rock / Muncey pages look great .... You're the best! Linda P.S. ~ I was chuckling at your mention of the old men who always sat on the ledge of the 1st National Bank. They were always there, and more on the benches in the yard of the courthouse, and we used to refer to them as "The Spit 'n' Whittle Club", as that's what they did .... sat and talked and chawed and spit and whittled the day away. Fond old-time memories. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
