And I would say that the long time mystery of where he was buried has probably just been solved. The date of his death suggests that he was killed by bushwhackers but we have no facts to document that. Also buried there may very likely be his son Alexander Haddock's wife, Frances Loveall, who died in 1858. Two daughters Emily and Evaline are unaccounted for, so they possibly are buried there, too. We can safely say that Alexander was living not too far away because he was listed as a bondsman for his father's estate - that of William Haddock in about 1861 to 1866. Also he married second in 1860 to Mary Bikes. William's wife, Polly went to Texas with William Marion Haddock and other relatives so we know that she isn't buried there. I have posted some notes about the sections of land and the probate records on the cemetery page.
