    3. Good Morning: The featured photo for the coming week is one of Bethel School Judy Corcoran shared it with us and the only person she knows who is pictured in it is her grandmother, Mabel Lee. You can sure see Mabel's Indian heritage coming through in this photo. It is a nice clear photo, and might have been taken about 1912 or 1914. I hope that by featuring it that some of you will find people in it that you will know or maybe even faces that go with grand parents. I wonder if Bethel School wasn't close to where Bethel Cemetery is today. Any of you know for sure where it was located? My Grandma Haddock, who was nee Addington, went to school there but she was out of school long before this photo was taken. There is a Bethel school photo with her pictured in it that was taken about 1902 or so but I can't seem to find anybody who has a copy of it. Here is the link. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/bryfams.htm Thanks Judy for sharing this nice piece of school history with us. Donna Cooper

    3. Up until he passed away recently, I was pretty good friends with Doyle Davis, who used to be a caretaker of Bethel Baptist Cemetery and a former student at Bethel School. He told me that, as you turn south off of BB Highway towards the church and cemetery, there is a white house on the left side. That is the old school building, built on and changed to what now is a residence. The building after this house is the church and the graveyard is across the street. jay --- Donna Cooper <saarisr@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > Good Morning: The featured photo for the coming week > is one of Bethel School > Judy Corcoran shared it with us and the only person > she knows who is > pictured in it is her grandmother, Mabel Lee.
