List Readers: Today we have several new items. Thanks to Phyllis Long who sent us her file on the work she's done for the web site and I posted that on our "Helpers Award" page. Also Audrey Lemons sent us a nice photo of herself and it was also posted on that page, too. If you have been a helper and want your photo added just mail me one and I ll post it for you. Also my thanks to those of you who have sent files telling about your work that you have done for the web site. People are telling me that they are really enjoy reading those. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/helpers.htm A big thanks to Joyce Sneel who posted a bushwhacker story. If you have a story about a bushwhacker death, please post it so that others can enjoy knowning about it, too. Here is a link where you can post your stories. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/bwsubcem11.htm Here is the bushwhacker story page. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/bushwhacker/index.htm Our thanks to Gerald Haddock who caught a spelling mistake on the Mermoud family name on the Waldensian page and that has been repaired. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/waldensian/waldensian-3.htm Thanks to Renee Schaeffer who sent some research notes on James Cook and Sarah Elizabeth (Mayes) Cook for the Corsicana pages. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/corsicana/corsicana.htm And thanks to Lee Lawson who sent us the name listing for the Phillip Schell photo that has Elizabeth (Yocum) Schell pictured. This is a very nice discovery. Thanks so much, Lee. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-3/schell.fam.1.htm A big thanks to Damien Aragon who sent us a couple of very nice old photos that look like tin-types. They are photos of Isaac Cook Howsmon and Anna Deal (Williams) Howsmon. Those are in photo book 3 in the first part of the book. Some folks will be very happy to see these. Thanks for sharing. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/photos/phs-3.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-3/howsmon.anna.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-3/howsmon.isaac.htm Gail Hubeny caught a page that wasn't linked up properly - for Troy Brock on the data index page. That has been repaired now so you can view it from there now. We have over 50 new photos on the Monett Cemetery pages. That work is moving along - but seems slow. I have over 1200 from Jay's work posted and about 1700 all total posted. There are 24 folders and I am working on folder 4 now Most of the folders have about 100 photos in them but the first one I did had about 1000 so I'm glad to have that one posted. Jay really did some good work with these photos. This cemetery is like a giant jig saw puzzle - because it has so many pieces. Thanks, Jay, for all you do. We appreciate it so much. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/monett/monett.htm Thanks to all of you for these nice items and for all that you do for our county and our web site. Your careful study of our early families and research work will be remembered for generations to come. Donna Cooper
Donna, I don't think I sent a photo of myself; perhaps someone else sent in a photo. (I was surprised when I read that!) Sorry, Audrey. I could say it was a senior moment but the truth is that I had a list and all I had on it was your name. Glad you were on the watch. Here is Audrey's file. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/audrey.htm Donna -------Original Message------- From: mobarry@rootsweb.com Date: Wednesday, December 19, 2007 6:22:00 PM To: mobarry@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MOBARRY] New Donna, I don't think I sent a photo of myself; perhaps someone else sent in a photo.
