Could you look and see if that is a typo of the 1879 date or have you found another record with another date? Her death certificate names Grover as her husband and reads that she was married. She is buried in New Site Cemetery and he is buried in Clay Hill Cemetery next to his first wife Anna. Donna, I checked back through my notes. I had in notes for Elijah that 1879 was given on his WW I Draft Registration but the year 1878 was given on his death certificate and tombstone. My guess is 1878 is correct - with the time of year census was usually taken and a November birthday.
