    3. List Readers: Today my Santa duties got in the way of my posting duties but I have a few things for you. Brenda Baughman sent us a note on her Turner family at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/mtpleasant/mtpleasant.htm Alice Allen forgot band member no. 13 and so she added that name to the 1919 Pioneer Band listing. He was Ed Allen. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/pioneer/index.htm And on Lake Park Cemetery, our thanks to Jay Trace who sent us a photo for Jones and one for Surfus. Those were recent stone entries and graves there. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/lakepark/lakepark1.htm Our thanks to Phyllis Long who added a Wilderbuer name to the Oak Ridge listing we have been building. That one came from an obit in the Advertiser. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/oakridge/oakridge.htm And at Rocky Comfort our thanks to Ruth Kent who added a note on the Davidson family from a death certificate. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/rockycomfort/rockycomfort.htm If you want to know where a certain hollow is in Barry County you might try viewing the country through Google Earth. I noticed a lot of them are still marked just the same as they were during the days of the our old newspapers. Most of you probably already know that on some of the cemeteries you can see little specks that are the stones and even hay bales and ponds are visitable from the satellite. That is a free program and one pretty handy for genealogy users who want to understand the area and where the cemeteries are situation in relation to other things. I always think that one of these days I will see one of our volunteers parked at one of our Barry County cemeteries - but guess that would be about normal. Have a good evening. Donna Cooper
