    3. Jane: Here is a link for what we have on the site. The map photo given on the page that I have the link for is one that Darla Marbut submitted and it shows that the stage first stopped at John Smith's place on the northeast side of the county . Then it stopped at the Crouch's place - not far from Butterfield. It stopped last at the Harbin house, which was located near Rock Springs. That was the Old Wire Road and it went on going westward until it came out at the Elk Horn Tavern, which is now located in the military park at Pea Ridge. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/stagecoach.htm We have so much history in our little county.
